Realstore Friday night art shows are back! To kick things off we’ve got local illustrator Joel VDK exhibiting new pieces for the next month. Come along for the official opening starting at 8pm, Friday 27th May (this Friday), check out the art, try on a new jacket, and get your weekend started right. Proudly supported by Hahn Super Dry, Treehouse Projects and Realstore.



Touring Exhibition by international artist Mega. Mega is one of the leading voices of the new artists generation. Linking traditional techniques with innovative process, his personal art, known for spicing a urban flavor over tasteful creations, has been celebrated in specialized magazines worldwide. After a successful career as an art director in France (WAD) and abroad (Acclaim, Australia), Mega decided to devote himself exclusively to his love for art.

Check out the launch of GO FONT UR SELF* Book 2 tonight at Magazine Gallery (1 Clubhouse Lane, just off Hindley Street) from 6pm. A 56pp book celebrating the 2nd year of a project involving 84 local & international artists, 17 exhibitions across 4 capital cities over 2 years, over 9,000 people in attendance, 2 books & 13,680 Kirins.

Espionage Gallery in collaboration with That Fresh have joined forces to help the people of the Tohoku region of Japan in the wake of the recent Disasters which have befallen Japan. In an effort to raise money in help of support for disaster relief, Espionage Gallery and That Fresh purchased 50 blank Japanese Uchiwa Traditional fans and gave them out to 50 artists from across Australia and New Zealand.
